Where registration takes place, we store the personal data collected in that process to enable use of the site. This includes username, email address, and where applicable further contact details. Separate information on further processing details is provided as part of the registration process.

3. User-Uploaded Files

Where files are uploaded, any personal content is stored for the specific purpose communicated in that context. Separate information on further processing details is provided as part of the upload process.

4. Forms

When you complete forms on the site, we process the data you submit for the specific purpose communicated in that context. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR unless stated otherwise. Our legitimate interest is to process your enquiry or fulfil the stated purpose. Where a form is used for event organisation, individual details (name, organisation) may be passed to the event company for preparation and execution purposes.

5. Server Log Files

When you visit our website, the web server automatically records the following data in server log files:

  • Date and time of the request
  • Name of the requested file
  • Page from which the file was requested
  • Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
  • Browser and operating system used
  • Full IP address of the requesting device
  • Data volume transferred

Right to withdraw consent — Where processing is based on consent under Art. 6(1)(a) or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Right to object — Pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR you may object at any time to the processing of your data on grounds relating to your particular situation, though this may not always be possible where legal provisions require processing.

Right to lodge a complaint — If you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
